It’s time to buck the system. There are plenty of third party organizations out there that try over and over again to win an election. They do not win. Why? Because they play the game by the rules set by the Republicans and Democrats. Party X will not play by the rules which skew the process to produce its obvious purpose - elect Republicans and Democrats. Therefore, we will not campaign in the normal (losing) fashion.

Return the Election System to the People-
The election process is completely controlled by the Republicans and Democrats. They have created a system that is virtually impossible to get included in unless you can come up with enough money. Even then, you will lose. Ask Ross Perot.
Three things need to happen to fix the election system.
1) All ballots need to be controlled by the federal government. It is unconstitutional for each state to determine who can and who cannot run for President. As long as independents and third parties have to deal with 50 different sets of rules, they will never come close to winning an election and the people will never have true representation.
2) In the interest of fairness and democracy, no vote must ever be allowed to be "wasted". To accomplish this, the federal government must force states to use an "Instant Run-off" type of ballot so votes are not "wasted" and people do not feel like they are forced to vote for the "lesser of two evils".
3) The debates need to be controlled by the federal government, not the Republicans and Democrats. Once the ballot laws are taken care of, all candidates on the ballots will be included in all debates. The American people deserve to have a choice. We demand diversity in every other aspect of our government, why not demand diversity in our choices for elected officials.
It's easy to see the problems, not so easy to fix them. We will need to come together as Americans and demand through the courts, the media, and our elected officials that this unconstitutional, undemocratic process be changed to once again benefit the people, not the politicians.
Find Regular People to Run for Office-
Trying to influence career politicians has proven to be a fruitless effort throughout history. The only way to affect change is to become the representatives. We could randomly select 100 individuals and they would perform much better than the 100 individuals who now constitute the U.S. Senate. Imagine what we could do with 100 Senators who are dedicated to restoring America to the great nation it once was rather than a group of career politicians who occupy the Capital today solely for their own self-interests.
It is our belief that the only way to save this country from tyranny is to take control of our government from those who are currently in power. We are looking for people to run for office in 2008. Any office, local, state, or federal. People who are dedicated to representing the interests of the American people. Once these people come to Party X and are ready to run, Party X will support them in any way possible. We understand that the system is set up to allow only Republicans and Democrats to have a chance in most, if not all elections. Because of this, Republicans and Democrats who agree with Party X are welcome to join in the movement.
The word "politician" as defined by the American people:
Politician :
1. A liar, thief, scoundrel, cheater
2. One who uses his charisma and money to advance himself in his political party for the purpose of gaining wealth at the expense of the people he pretends to represent.
Party X backed candidates will be referred to as "Statesmen" and "Stateswomen".
Statesman/Stateswoman:
1. A political leader regarded as an unbiased or impartial promoter of the public good.
2. A person who is a leader in national or international affairs.
Find the Support-
More than 50% of eligible voters did not vote in 2000. These are the people we are targeting. For the most part, registered Republicans and Democrats are a lost cause.
We believe that there is a common feeling among these people. That politicians do not represent them so they do not vote. Politicians are immoral, deceitful, people who are out for themselves. If these people see the opportunity to vote for someone who truly has their interest in mind, even if that person does not share the exact same political viewpoints, they will vote for them.
Party X will find these people in the thousands of non-profit groups who are opposed to the current government, activist groups, environmental groups, civil rights groups, authors, etc. who will support our cause and the candidates we back. We will contact every alternative media source we can find in an effort to promote those running for office.
It has been said that you can not run for office if you do not have money. This is something that has been created by the Republicans and Democrats. We will prove this to be not true. The American people are not completely influenced by money. When they see an opportunity to vote for change - real change - they will cast the vote.
This can and will be done through the unification of real American citizens running for political office under the belief of an ethical government.
